CryptoRetail is designed to make the assumptions visible. The core historical tools use weekly closing-price observations, rather than presenting an intraday low as though it were a guaranteed executable price. Calculations can differ from an individual exchange trade because fees, spreads, taxes, custody costs, staking rewards and time-zone conventions are not included unless a page says otherwise.
Our pages are not recommendations to buy, sell or hold an asset. Historical returns can be dramatic in either direction, and past performance is not a forecast. The purpose of the site is to help readers inspect a past scenario, understand the method and continue their research with better questions.
How the site is organised
The calculator directory is the starting point for historical single-purchase scenarios. The DCA calculator applies equal recurring purchases to Bitcoin or Ethereum. Coin hubs collect related scenarios for each asset, while the research section explains concepts and comparisons in more depth.
CryptoRetail also provides a developer-facing historical-data service through its API and MCP documentation. That service is intended for developers who want to build tools that use structured historical investment-return outputs.
